Today Tomas will play his fourth round match against
Rafael Nadal. The match will be the first on Center Court,
play is scheduled to start at 11.00AM GMT.
UPDATE: Nadal won the match by 7-6(1) 6-4 6-2.

Tomas will play his fourth round match on Wimbledon
today. Thay have played against each other once
before, on hard court, and Tomas won in five sets.
The match will be the first on Court 18, a time has
not yet been announced.
UPDATE: Tomas beat Jonas Bjorkman by 6-4 6-0 7-6(6) 6-0.
His next opponent will be Rafael Nadal (ATP-2),
whom he has beaten three times before on hard court,
while Nadal has won both their encounters on clay.

This morning, Tomas reached the fourth round of Wimbledon
by beating Hyung-Taik Lee 6-4 7-6(2) 7-6(3).
Last week, Tomas beat Nicolas Massu by 7-6(5) 6-4 6-2,
and he beat Michael Llodra by 7-6(4) 7-6(2) 3-6 7-6(4).
Tomas' next match will be against either Jonas Bjorkman
or Wayne Arthurs.

This week and next week Roland Garros, the second Grand Slam
of the year will take place in Paris. Because of heavy rainfall
not many matches have been finished so far, but play is
expected to get underway today. Tomas' first round match
against Guillermo Garcia-Lopez (ATP-64) from Spain is scheduled
for today as the fifth match on Court 6. They have never
played against each other before.

Yesterday Tomas beat Arnaud Clement in the second round of
the Sony Ericsson Open by 6-4 6-1. In the next round he will

First of all, happy new year and welcome back to the Tomas
Berdych fansite!
Due to a lack of internet connectivity, a few things still
need to be sorted out, but we will deal with them as soon as
possible. Meanwhile the new tennis season has started and
Tomas is currently participating in the Australian Open.
He has already beaten Australian Robert Smeets by 6-3 6-2 6-4
and Korean Hyung-Taik Lee by 6-1 6-2 6-2. In the next round
his opponenet will be Russian Dmitry Tursunov [21], the match
will probably be played on Saturday.
